Interview of Sri Tapan Ghosh

Hindu Samhati, diminutive yet prominent pro-Hindu advocacy group in Bengal, initiated its journey in Kolkata with just 300 members on February 14, 2008.  And from that year it has been celebrating the day with splendor; the burgeoning Hindu activists and endorsement happens to be its mainstay.  To intensify the same and also to depict the truth of Hindu persecution and sinister designs against Hindu movement, observance of the anniversary happens to be an obligation for Hindu Samhati.

Similar programs were organized in earlier years at different corners of Kolkata but there was hardly any problem ever. Nevertheless, reverse took place this year and in spite of having necessary permission from both Kolkata Corporation and Kolkata Police to hold the celebration at Raja Subodh Mallik Square (Wellington Square) a month back, notices of its annulment (by both governmental agencies) were send to Hindu Samhati office in the night of February 08, 2012 citing no valid reason. Without doubt, it was done under pressures of Islamic lobby on the reigning Trinamool-led government. Well, when questioned repeatedly of its reason, a flimsy ground of having trial session of a sport event was stated. This was a blatant untruth. . All these were done against a celebration known for happening peacefully for years.

When police was asked of rendering any alternative place, it was rebuffed. The main intention of police was to bring 4 th Anniversary to an end. Nonetheless, such directives are never issued against Islamists blocking thoroughfares of Kolkata to perform their religious duties.

Finding no other option, a Writ petition was filed by Hindu Samhati on February 10, and a Stay Order on this by the Hon’ble Kolkata High Court was received. But police remained the same; Kolkata Corporation, on February 13, to cancel the Stay Order, appealed in the room of Chief Justice of Kolkata High Court at 4. 25 pm.

To stall the celebration Muslims (in various parts of Bengal) started grouping; even if each and every part of the campaign including leaflet and other aspects were legal. But Muslims started tearing posters and the same job was done by police too. These included police forces of P.S. Basanti, Jibantala, Raidighi of 24 Paraganas District (South), P.S. Bagnan in Howrah District, P.S. Minakhan of 24 Paraganas District (North).  Is it the job of police? But police, being pressurized by Islamists, was doing the same.

And the worst happened when P.S. Jadavpur arrested ageing Sri Ranjit Kar (age 82) on February 05, 2012, distributing leaflets regarding 4 th Anniversary of Hindu Samhati, despite scarcity of any compliant, and lodged a suo moto case against him. Police made a formal case against two other persons apart from Sri Kar and these included Sri Tapan Ghosh, president, Hindu Samhati, and Sri Prakash Ch. Das.

Sections included 295 A, 298 and 120 B (regarding conspiracy against the State). Police started conducting regular raids to arrest Mr. Ghosh and thus made great efforts to appease its political bosses. At several places Hindu Samhati activists were warned and reprimanded. Till the last moment, police endeavored to stop Hindu Samhati rally. And all these prove how police were virtually turned into political cadres. Shamefully, present Bengal government is no more depending on people’s strength but on police.

Hindus in Bengal, hapless victims of bloody partition, are no longer ready to become refugees.

The Jihad against Bengali

Every February 21, a little-known observance occurs: International Mother Language Day.  Created in 2000 to promote and encourage the diversity of language, this benign and idealistic-sounding commemoration actually marks a bloody day in 1952 when an Islamic minority shot and killed university students protesting the imposition of an Islamic language, Urdu, on a Bengali-speaking majority in Pakistan.

Vrindavan Parker’s soul-stirring speech on Hindu Samhati’s 4 th Anniversary

4 th Anniversary of Hindu Samhati on February 14, 2012 is indeed a history owing to several factors occurring at the same instant. While on one hand it happens to the be the defiance and steadfastness of Hindu Samhati, the role of distinguished speakers and dignitaries gracing the occasion that did galvanize the vast Hindu crowd deserves special mention.

Vrindavan alias Brannon Parker, well-known author and journalist hailing from United States, through his soul-stirring speech did also motivate the Hindus to a large extent.  The speech was the greatest exposition of truth and also self-reliant and valorous.

Administration dancing to Islamist tunes in Malancha

Hindus remain stranded

Malancha, situated in Sub-division: Basirhat, District: 24 Paraganas (North), has been a hotspot of animosity between Hindus and Muslims for years and village: Sastitala, one of the many villages in it, witnessed a corresponding flare-up once more on February 19, 2012. However, the basis of this hostility is quite unusual and it’s regarding a transformer (an electrical device by which alternating current of one voltage is changed to another voltage).

Each of the Hindu and Muslim localities in the village enjoys a separate transformer; Islamist bid to exploit the Hindu locality’s transformer initiate the bloody crisis.

Say No to Shariah Laws

Islamist website outraging Hindu pluralism stalled

What can be the true effect of a strong, defiant and unified movement is best ascertained from the struggle against the Islamist website www.shariah4hind.com; the vigorous campaign headed by Bhagat Singh Kranti Sena has won the first round of the battle with the Hon’ble Delhi High Court looking for a status report from the Commissioner of Delhi Police on the Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by the Sena for demanding prohibition on the aforementioned Islamist website having enough potentials to disrupt the national integrity, communal harmony across India. The Bench comprising Acting Chief Justice A.K. Sikri and Justice Rajiv Shah Endlaw instructed Police commissioner to submit the imperative report within a week.

Apart from making a vigorous campaign against the Islamist website, leaving no stone unturned to stimulate the Islamic community across the nation to rise up against the genesis of India and thus unfurl the flag of Muslim Ummah, Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga, president of the Bhagat Singh Kranti Sena, citing that the website is competent to outrage and also endanger secular fabric of India, filed the PIL.

It was stated in the petition, “Extreme Islamic groups are planning to organise a huge rally in Delhi propagating Islamization of Indian subcontinent and enforcement of Shariah law all over India and hence this may result into communal clashes and disruption of public peace and order in State of Delhi and other parts of India.”

Undoubtedly, even if there has never been any end to verbal attacks and sometimes vicious onslaughts even to implant an Islamic hegemony in India, stances of www.shariah4hind.com as regards asking Muslims to fight for Islamization of India en masse and also to attend the public rally to be held in this regard on March 03, 2012, happens to be most seditious thus far.

What can be the future if there is establishment of Shariah Law ever in India can be discerned from the existing situation in United Kingdom with no trouble. United Kingdom, thanks to Shariah Laws, is witnessing a communal bifurcation in the society virtually, the intensity of which is rising with each day it passes. Should India be allowed to plunge into the same darkness?  The answer is No.

Hindus, undergoing centuries of religious persecutions by Islamists, are attaining a steady growth owing to the brawny national integrity, steadfast economic progression and pluralism – Ékam sat vipra bahudā vadanti (Truth is One, sages know it multifariously) – Rig Veda.

This age-old principle of India, deep-rooted in Hinduism, has been the sole beacon of Hindus from time immemorial – it can’t be compromised. Establishment of Shraiah Laws happens to be a blatant compromise to it altogether.

Nevertheless, it will be suicidal to have sigh of relief so early. The war has just begun and it must be overwhelmed ultimately.

Hindu Samhati’s Press Conference depicts its inherent steadfastness

Hindu Samhati, to reveal increasing State Repression on Hindu Samhati, Hindu genesis in Bengal in public, organized a Press Conference here in Kolkata today at the Kolkata Press Club. The conference was conducted by Sri Animitra Chakraborty (Media-in-Charge, Hindu Samhati) while the dignitaries adorning the occasion included Sri Tapan Ghosh, president, Hindu Samhati, Swami Tejsanandaji, Sri Abhoy Vartak (Sanatan Samstha), Michael Brannon Parker (well-known author from United States).

While Animitra Chakraborty initiated the Press Conference depicting the existing gruesome reality for Hindu Samhati, one of the most prominent Hindu advocacy groups in Bengal and whole of India, its continual struggles to sustain and fight for righteous Hindu interest in the state, mounting State repression on it exhibited worst as regards its recent 4 th Anniversary on February 14, 2012, Sri Tapan Ghosh emphasized the heinous and heedless approach of the governance that had come to the fore with the arrests of Hindu Samhati activists engaged in campaigning for the 4 th Anniversary and the abrupt revocation  (completely unreasonable) of the permission given to Hindu Samhati ( almost a month ago) to carry on the said convention.

Sri Tapan ji also did put forward how police and administration scanned every aspect of Hindu Samhati, working constitutionally with steadfastness, and made all efforts to intimidate and prevent it from going on with the aforementioned meeting on February 14, 2012.  He also wondered of the precise definition of change “Poriborton” and whether the present governance is becoming a new face of tyranny.  He also stated firmly that the entire approach was to appease Islamist vote bank in the state of Bengal and cautioned that rising minorityism, if remains unchecked, will bring destruction outright.

Sri Abhoy Vartak, while speaking, expressed his apprehensions that the repression on Hindu Samhati happens to be the worst form of repression known thus far and stated intrepidly that the entire Hindu society and Sanatan Samastha second struggles of Hindu Samhati.

Swami Tejsanandaji expressed his hope that, as every unjust onslaught fortifies moral fiber of a valiant and true warrior, the ongoing repression will make Hindu Samhati more defiant and stronger in its conviction to fight for Hindus.

Michael Brannon Parker spoke of need of more such struggles as being waged by Hindu Samhati and its expansion is the only hope for continuance of Hindu civilization across the globe.

Press Note - Hindu Samhati

Press Note:

State Repression on Hindu Samhati, Hindu genesis in Bengal

Hindu Samhati, one of the most prominent pro-Hindu rights advocacy group in Bengal and India, from its formal beginning in 2008, has been striving to establish Hindu interest and righteous Hindu causes.

In all these years, Hindu Samhati has gone through several obstacles and has also confronted an assortment of risks to give a new face to its ideal – venerable existence of Hindus in Bengal, at stake owing to fast rising minorityism under the aegis of governance and a few evil political intentions. Hindu Samhati, at the same time, exhibits its complete faith on the legal framework and Constitution of India.  Nevertheless, there has never been any end to portray Hindu Samhati as radical by different echelons of political arena and governance.

What Hindu Samhati has observed regarding its 4 th Anniversary on February 14, 2012 proves inimical approaches of the governance to crush it violating democratic and human rights, enshrined in the Constitution of India, are high.

Ranging from desperate annulment of permission (by the governance) to hold the said convention on the same date at Raja Subodh Mallik Square (Wellington Square) to implementation of Section 144 – as a last approach to stop the convention (irked by legal defeat in High Court, Calcutta) – endangers democratic rights of people across the state. Strangely, contradictory attitude is expressed during any encounter between governance and minority Islamist groups.

The entire act is scandalous and disgraces the Fundamental Rights altogether.

The dangerous situation, reigning across the state at this point in time, is not desirable and is being deemed by Hindu Samhati as a great threat to the national integrity and communal harmony of the state of Bengal.

Hindu Samhati desires to put up the existing dangerous reality to the Press and Media.

Sri Tapan Ghosh is Released

Bengal government fails to confine the Hindu Tiger

Sri Tapan Ghosh, president, Hindu Samhati, is bailed out finally, after days of wait and apprehensions, dashing hopes of anti-Hindu forces to detain him further and scuttle the rising Hindu strength in Bengal such.  This significant event took place today, February 18, 2012, in the First Court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Alipur, around 4 pm.

Sri Ghosh was arrested on February 14, 2012, at 9:30 pm from his residence by police of P.S. Jadavpur with an arrest warrant issued against Case No. 52/dt 05.02.2012 u/s 295 A, 298 and 120 B (IPC). And it can be said indubitably that the entire development had been a part of the conspiracy hatched by the existing governance to stamp the 4 th anniversary of Hindu Samhati at Raja Subodh Mallik Square (Wellington Square) down.

This heinous design was first comprehended when ageing Sri Ranjit Kar (age 82) was arrested at 1 pm by P.S. Jadavpur, on February 05, 2012, while campaigning and distributing leaflets of Hindu Samhati to make the 4 th anniversary on February 14, 2012 a great success. The entire move of administration was based on a flimsy ground and the aforementioned case was made then against Sri Kar; Sri Tapan Ghosh being the first accused individual.

Even if the court failed to confine ageing Sri Kar more owing to defiant posture of Hindu Samhati and its valiant legal battle, Sri Tapan Ghosh continued to be the first target. Wrath of administration was perceived in the following days through cancelling permission of the Anniversary that was received almost a month ago. Hindu Samhati challenged the revocation and aided by the verdict of the Hon’ble High Court of Kolkata to organize the Anniversary as usual it went on.

Nevertheless, exhibiting the worst form of violation of democratic rights (given to all Indians by the Constitution of  India), the governance made a last attempt to impede the celebration – ranging from declaring Section 144 around the venue on the fateful day to preventing the entrance of Hindu Samhati activists to the very ground. And what did happen afterwards is a history. Presence of more than 30,000 Hindus along with dignitaries rendering perfervid and momentous speeches made the task of arresting Sri Tapan ji just after completion of 4th Anniversary completely unfeasible for police.

He was arrested, later on, and in the same night.

The release of Sri Tapan ji authenticates the age-old philosophy – truth prevails and is ever able to overwhelm unjust forces – once more.

The release ushers a new hope among Hindus, already enthused by the historic success of February 14, 2012, and vows to strengthen the righteous struggles of Hindus in Bengal.

Hindu Samhati Rally in Bengal Makes Front Page News in Maharashtra

Sea of Humanity Converges at Hindu Samhati Anniversary Rally 2012

Tuesday, February 14, 2012

Hindu Samhati’s 4th Anniversary creates History

Hindu Samhati, witnessing an assortment of inhibitions and also malicious approaches of the government to scuttle any impeccant and upright and audacious Hindu voice like it in Bengal, has attained a historic success today with the grand celebration of its 4th Anniversary at Raja Subodh Mallik Square (Wellington Square) in Kolkata, beholding in the past few days the hell-bent onslaughts of the administration to call it a halt.

Defying vindictiveness of the governance (influenced by Islamists and its own obeisance to the anti-Hindus to maintain a minority vote bank with conviction) 30, 000 Hindus were present on the occasion and all these helped it to assert proudly once again that Hindu Samhati remain undeterred to any venomous design, resolute to stop its marching towards forming a novel basis of Hindus in the state. However, tens of thousands supporters of Hindu Samhati were prevented by police from attending the assemblage.

What we perceived today was not only shocking but the desperate violations of human rights and democratic rights (as enshrined in the Constitution of India) by the governance also. Despite the presence of verdict from the Hon’ble High Court of Kolkata enabling Hindu Samhati to go on with the 4 th Anniversary unflinchingly, no stone was left unturned to stamp down the occasion – ranging from declaring Section 144 around the venue (in the early morning) to disallowing presence of water vans there. And the desperation of the administration (eager to placate Muslim vote bank thus) was easily discernible.

Nevertheless, the courage and resoluteness of Hindu Samhati activists, experient to defeat obstacles of any intensity to fight for and preserve rightful Hindu interest, turned out to be too heavy for police and administration to resist and they had to give in finally.  What happened next, proclaiming inconceivable success of Hindu Samhati, will remain in golden letters in the history of Hindu movement in Bengal.

Dignitaries who graced the occasion through their inestimable speeches include Sri Tapan Ghosh (President, Hindu Samhati), Swami Tejasanandaji, Sri Ramesh Shinde (Hindu Janajagruti Samiti), Sri Abhay Vartak (Sanatan Sanstha), Acharya Yogesh Shastri (Arya Samaj), Sri Michael Brannon Parker (USA), Dr. Gautam Sen (UK) and Dr. Nilamadhab Das.

Hindu Samhati owes its Historic Success to Hindus, desiring indefatigably to perceive the ascension of a Hindu Bengal.

Hindu Samhati Stands By Its Hindu Mega Rally

Hindu Samhati Resolves Not to be Cowed Down ; 14th Feb Program shall Happen !!!

'Undemocratic orders and Muslim Appeasement policy of TMC government shall not deter us' -  Tapan Ghosh.
.
Rising influence of Hindu Samhati and mounting struggles of Hindus under its leadership across the state of West Bengal have been perturbing the state government hell-bent to appease Islamists round the clock and its strong ill feeling became obvious (first) through the cruel and indifferent attitudes of administration towards Hindus, tortured by Islamists while urging people to join the imminent 4 th anniversary of Hindu Samhati on February 14 in strength. Lots of its activists have been detained to teach Hindu Samhati a lesson. Even the personal residence of Sri Tapan Ghosh, president, Hindu Samhati, was not spared; it was raided by a large contingent of police personnel and a case, on flimsy ground, was slapped on him.
.
There was, hence, an apprehension that something more sinister would happen. And the worst fear has come true; the Government of West Bengal, surrendering to Islamist whims and masquerading under the skin of Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC), has revoked the earlier permission to Hindu Samhati of using Raja Subodh Mallik Square (Wellington Square) as the venue of the meeting. Subsequently, another letter championing KMC’s decision from the Office of Commissioner of Police, Kolkata has also reached office of Hindu Samhati.
.
What has motivated the aforementioned governmental organizations to annul the venue of meeting is well-defined to us. The saga of Islamist appeasement and desperation to preserve minority vote bank has made the government blind and consider Hindu Samhati as the biggest threat.
.
We do strongly condemn this malicious approach of the government of violating basic democratic and human rights as enshrined in the Constitution of India.
.
Hindu Samhati, at the same instant, is proud to assert that it remains undeterred in face of vicious onslaughts of agencies, resolute to stamp down legitimate Hindu aspirations.
.
Hindu Samhati will continue to struggle through constitutional means to defend Hindus and their rights.
.
4th anniversary of Hindu Samhati on February 14, 2012 is a settled fact and it will see a new dawn in the Hindu history of Bengal.

Hindu Samhati under attack

Strategies to halt its 4 th Anniversary reign highly

Pernicious strategies to inhibit Hindu Samhati took place lots in the past and now, with each day more Hindu Samhati is advancing to make the upcoming 4 th anniversary of it a historic success, more roguish gambits are being devised to bog it down outright. And the undeserved detention of Sri Ranjit Kar, age 82, veteran activist and longtime well-wisher of Hindu Samhati, today itself, to campaign for the aforementioned impending 4 th anniversary on February 14, happens to be the latest ploy in this regard.

Sri Ranjit Kar was arrested at 1 pm by P.S. Jadavpur while campaigning and distributing leaflets to make the anniversary a success. Even if protests were made by Hindu Samhati activists against this ominous development in the police station, concerned authority, remaining unmoved, enforced case against him under Sections 295A/298/120B IPC (Indian Penal Code). And all these happen to be non-bailable sections.  It has been learnt that Sri Kar will be produced in Alipur Court tomorrow; however, the chances to get bail happen to be bleak.

It must be stated, at the same instant, clashes are increasing between Hindu Samhati activists and adversaries at different parts of the state about urging people to join the convention in strength. 3 brushes, thus far, have taken place for putting up posters. 3 HS activists were arrested in Raidighi, released on bail from court later on. More such ominous developments are being reported.

We do apprehend that case may be slapped on us for the content of the leaflet.

Hindu Samhati strongly condemns all these developments set to oppress it and thus a justifiable, defiant and brawny Hindu voice.

Hindu Samhati shall never knuckle under come what may.

Kolkata Book Fair, 2012 turns into a hard-line Islamic bastion

A single happening often becomes an indication of a sinister development in next to no time – history has taught in different fashions that such a notion is not divinatory or hypothetical but speaks of a crude reality altogether. What has taken place in Kolkata Book Fair, 2012 is not only disgraceful but speaks of an ominous future for the whole of Bengal in the coming days.

Publishers and Booksellers’ Guild, chief organizer of the Book Fair, mentioning hurt of minority sentiment and security reasons stopped official release of the seventh part of Taslima Nasrin’s autobiography, Nirbasan (Exile), on February 01, 2012, mortifying the saga of secularism in the state. Alleging the protestation of an organization Twahad-e-Milli (never heard before) against the release of book and thus to steer clear of any sort of ‘untoward development’, the Guild adopted the despicable decision surreptitiously. What is most striking, People’s Book Society, publisher of the book, was also not informed of the decision in the wee hours of the day. People, in large numbers, protested angrily but all these failed to influence the decision in any way.

But it was not the end on top. Stall No. 101, just facing the entrance of the Fair, had another shocking feature under its sleeve to offer. It was witnessed to be full of kids dressed in conventional Islamic uniforms while little girls were clad in the Islamic attire of burkha. Just a glance to it depicted as if the Book Fair was taking place in a Muslim bastion or Madrasa in Middle East. None was found there to share the reasons behind this presentation.

Was it done to make people realize the ominous future on the way?

Urdu – second official language in Bengal

Will it lead to a novel experimentation for another Pakistan?

There is simply no end to efforts of reigning Trinamool Congress-led Bengal government to exert its empathy towards minority Muslims in the state and the latest approach on its part, in this regard, happens to be the decision to make Urdu the second official language in the state. Well, there is something more to add – it will be made in areas where Muslims form sizeable populations or make 10 per cent of the total populace. Political analysts have already started to term that this overture will give the party an edge in the coming Panchayat election.

It is worthwhile to mention that this issue was mooted by the Information and Cultural Affairs Department of the State Government.  However, the role of Minority Affairs Department under the aegis of Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee, in this context, is momentous.

India’s dubious Secularists

Secularism, by its definition, does signify a philosophy or a doctrine that rejects religion and religious considerations of every form. This is the most ideal stance known hitherto but what India, under the aegis of alleged secularists, has been practicing (from the beginning) happens to be ruthless altogether.

Whereas any onslaught on Hindu belief is exalted as a right to freedom and the offender never finds him/herself alone thanks to champions of Human Rights and a considerate administration, the reverse takes place when on earth consecrated Islamic beliefs are tormented.

Cases of Maqbool Fida Husain and Salman Rushdie depict the same.

Islamic fundamentalist threat stalls release of Taslima’s autobiography in Kolkata Book Fair, 2012

Guild, Bengal Government capitulate shamelessly

No physical appearance is needed any more; just the phone of any Islamic fanatic or fanatical organization is enough to stall the voyage of truth (unflinching criticism of Islamic notions and its consecrated viewpoints) in Kolkata.

Kolkata Book Fair, 2012 witnessed this development on February 01 disgracefully when Publishers and Booksellers’ Guild, chief organizer of the worldwide acclaimed Book Fair, citing hurt of minority sentiment and security reasons called official release of the seventh part of Taslima Nasrin’s autobiography, Nirbasan (Exile), a halt. Even if the People’s Book Society, publisher of the book, went on with the formal release near its stall and outside the official venue for book releases in the Fair defiantly, Guild’s capitulation to an anonymous threat has both demeaned and scourged sane minds in the cultural capital of India. Is this going to be the fate of whole Bengal soon? That such an apprehension is not baseless was proved when this worry was found to reverberate among people partaking in the Fair.

Hindus in Basirhat triumph; create a glorious instance

There is a well-known saying that braveness and not numbers win the war; this is proved once again with the success of Hindus living in Basirhat, Bengal through foiling a nefarious Islamic design to occupy legitimate Hindu lands steadily. Hindus, in reality, do hail from Chotojirakpur Swasti Colony, Mukherjee Colony, Hazratala Colony and Mathpara Colony, P.S. Basirhat, District: 24 Paraganas (North).

Only a few Muslims in the area were endeavoring to create a mosque in the area and thus to evict Hindus. This had been going on for years; Hindu valiance did put an end to it in the end.

Hindu house bombed by Muslim thugs in Sankrail, Howrah

Sankrail, Howrah is becoming a hotbed of Hindu Muslim animosities and undoubtedly, fast rising Islamic fundamentalism happens to be the main cause in this regard. On January 31, the residence of Felu Sardar (age 45), inhabitant of Snakrail Battala, P.S. Sankrail, District: Howrah, was bombed by a few masked Muslim youths leading to destructions of the abode and injuries of Hindu family members residing in it.

Even if almost all of them escaped in secret, Sabir Ali Sheikh, noted Muslim thug of the area, was identified by a few neighbors of Felu.

Hindu-Muslim clash over Saraswati Puja in Bagnan

Muslim misbehavior with Hindu girls sparked troubles

History is recurring; in the momentous days of 1940s celebration of Saraswati Puja turned out to be the greatest bone of contention between Hindus and Muslims. While Muslims, on no account, were ready to accept the same ever, Hindus were determined to do the same in any way – leading to riots in various parts of then undivided Bengal.

The same is taking place once more and village: Ramchandrapur Kaity para, P.S. - Bagnan. District: Howrah does bear testimony of the same. On January 29, at 9 pm, when a function regarding Saraswati Puja was in full might in the village, Muslim youths misbehaved with Hindu girls leading to serious clashes between the two communities.
