Hindu Samhati Conducts Succesful Blood Donation Camp at Usti, S 24 Parganas

Hindu Samhati, of Usti and Magrahat Block in South 24 Pargana district organized a successful blood donation camp on 26th December 2010 at Radha Krishna Mandir at Usti.

The inaugural function was presided over by Barid Baran Guha, (Vice President, HS); Chief Guest - Tapan Ghosh (President, HS); Special Guest ; Pratip Dasgupta (from New York, USA).

The function blessed was by Srimat Swami Madangopal Brahmachari of Gaudiya Math, Diamond Harbor.

Other speakers : Advocate Tapan Biswas. Chief organiser of the program - Pratap Hazra.
148 persons and workers of HS donated blood. Blood taken by People's Blood Bank of Kolkata.
More than one thousand people attended the entire program. The huge success of the event enhanced the enthusiasm of HS workers.

Muslim Fundamentalists Obstruct Kali Puja in Beledanga,West Bengal

Kali Puja and Bengal are synonymous and this is no new concept; this has been going on for centuries, if not more. The situation in Deganga is certainly no different as well. Towards 3 kilometers east of the Deganga police station there lies Beledanga Daspara crossing and there, by the side of the road, on the landed property (in Padma’s Char) a Puja has been going on for 30 years at a stretch under the aegis of local Beledanga Shakti Sangha Club, source of inspiration along with ceremonial elegance and splendor for the local people. But there has been a new experience this year.

Taking advantage of the infamous riot (taking place in Deganga in recent months) and also series of attacks by the Muslim activists, on 24th October, 2010, led by notorious Sheikh Malek Goldar, a gang of Muslim goons was witnessed to enclose the site of Puja with a bamboo-made fence and also cut down a diminutive peepul-tree (ficus religiosa) completely. What’s more, they warned that Hindus would experience terrible consequences if they dared to worship there any longer. The development did scare Hindus a great deal.

Swami Sraddhananda : Hindu Samhati Salutes This Great Warrior-Saint of Hindu Samaj

Swami Sraddhananda spearheaded a successful Shuddhi movement to bring back converted Indian Muslims back to Hinduism. Converting back tens of thousands of Muslims (whose ancestors were forcibly converted to Islam from Hinduism) to their original Hindu faith, Swami-ji and the Arya Samaj movement is a major inspiration for Hindu Samhati.

Muharram and the Suffering Hindus (Part 4 - Dhanbad)

Hindus Bear the Brunt of Islamic Communalism in Dhanbad

Kendua Bazaar under Kenduadih police station, about 7 km from the district headquarters in the city (Dhanbad, Jharkhand) on 17th November, 2010. The episode was initiated from the misconduct of a Muslim youngster ended into a violent clash fueled by Islamists injuring multiple Hindus and destroying Hindu homes and businesses.

Trouble started around 10pm on 17th December 2010 when a Muslim youth participating in the Muharram procession verbally assaulted a Hindu girl, relative of an influential political leader in the neighborhood. In retaliation, the Muslim youth was roughened up by the local residents. Muslims started arriving on scene and the police and administration succeeded in reining in the increasingly worsening situation in time, but the Muslims refused to forget the 'insult' so quickly.

As per eye witnesses, the situation attained the height of tension at 9 am on the following day of 18th December 2010, when over three dozen Muslims, armed with powerful weapons lashed out at Hindu shopkeepers at Kendua. .....

..... Educational institutions refused to take any more chances and students of both government and private schools at Karkend and Kendua were sent back home swiftly. .....
..... Criminal members of the Muslim community remain scot free in the Indian terrain. There was no information of bringing the Muslim miscreant to book till the writing of this report.

Hindus Rally in Sankrail; Appeal to Administration for Help in Persecution from Muslims and a Biased Police Force

In Howrah district's Sankrail block, the Hindus are facing constant torture and harassment. .....

..... In protest of these regular communal occurrences, on November 23 2010, Hindu Samhati leaders along with five hundred local Hindus from the Sankrail area protested in front of the BDO (Block Development Office). Led by Samhati's president Tapan Kumar Ghosh, the massive rally started in Manikpur and ended at the BDO office located in Andul, Sankrail.

Following the speeches, a memorandum that had a detailed description of the persecution of Hindus in the block was submitted to the officer on behalf of Hindu Samhati. The other leaders of the organization present were Narendra Majhi, Sahadeb Thandar, Sikhen Chatterjee, Arup Ray, Nilima Roy, and Shukla Pal.

How Much More For Hajjis ?

A very revealing fact has been obtained from the Indian government's External Affairs Ministry Office through the RTI (Right to Information) Act. As per this information, the Indian Government has spent a staggering sum of 2,891.77 crore rupeess (28,920,000,000 Rs = US $ 672,558,140) for muslim Hajj pilgrimage in the last 5 years. ....

..... The Government provided subsidy of 70,238 rupees (US $ 1,634) per person and a total of 864.77 crore rupees (US $ 201,162,791) was spent in just last year. .....

The ministry has also informed that the Indian Government does not provide any subsidy for pilgrimage for any other religious group. .....

Hindus Protest in Barasat - Submit Memorandum on Persecution

Meomrandum Submitted to Police Authority to Protest the Persecution of Hindus by Islamic Fundamentalists in North 24 Parganas

Hindu Samhati activists conducted a mass protest and a mass deputation in Barasat, district HQ of North 24 Parganas (in West Bengal state, India). Over 200 organizational leaders and workers from different parts of the district held the mass protest on 23rd December from 12 noon-4 PM in Barasat civil adminstration area.

At the closing of the protest, the activists submitted a memorandum to the police authority. The memorandum appealed to the administration to not remain mere bystanders when innocent Hindus are persecuted by the Islamist elements in the district.

Raise Violent Protests to Save Skin and Kith and Kin at This Time

Lastly, Sainthia, a prominent town and municipality in Suri Sadar subdivision (of Birbhum district in West Bengal, India), has got acquainted with the brunt of not conforming to the (Islamic tradition of) heinous pressure tactics played during Muharram (to raise subscriptions from Hindus). It is to be noted that Sainthia is famous for Nandikeshwari Temple, one of the Shakti Peethas in India.and has always been one of the prime targets of Islamic extremist groups, whose main intention is to uproot the potent Hindu community populating the town and also its confidence.

The events that played out before the administration on 17th December, 2010, Friday (Muharram Day) was enough to motivate the Hindu community living here to protest fiercely. The shop of a local Hindu businessman was ransacked completely for refusing to adhere to the rate of forced subscription imposed on him by the local organizers of Muharram (a Muslim festival). These events took place in front of the local police and the administration, while the later were found to perceive the entire development with rapt attention only. Kali Temple Attacked in Rampurhat, Hindu Shops Vandalized, Hindu Women Molested

Rampurhat, Birbhum, West Bengal, India

Bagtui Paschimpara Muhharram Commitee organized a Muharram Tazia parade on Friday, December 17th 2010 evening. The parade was conducted without permit from the local police department. When the police learned about this illegitimate parade, instead of stopping it, they reqauested the organizers to follow certain routes so that local people do not face any hassle or delay in their daily commute. The Muslim organizers paid no attention to the police instructions and chose to march in routes they wanted. When SDPO intervened and tried to direct the marchers in routes the police approved, the mob turned violent and threatened to kill him. The police force retreated and continued to watch the marchers from a distance.

It was night when the Tazia procession reached the Kamarpatti More. The marchers started breaking all street lights causing panic among the locals. In the cover of darkness, the Muslim mob started vandalizing Hindu owned stops between Lotus Press Lane and Kamarpatti More. More than 25 shops were looted and several Hindu women molested. The Muslim marchers also destroyed couple of govt owned buses. The procession then advanced to Shangata More where the marchers attacked the Dakshina Kali Mandir.

Our Struggle – Rule of Law and Bakri Id

It is proved yet again that the Muslim society in the Indian state of West Bengal doesn’t have any reverence for the law of the land. It has also been proved whether the government of West Bengal can implement the ruling of High Court on the same Muslim community. We are not in need of evidence any more. It is already known to us – how much Muslims revere the Indian laws, respect Hindu rituals and tradition, how government and administration cope with the simply unjust demands of the Muslim community, and what is the real role of appeasing political parties in this context. We know all these very well and Hindu Samhati is committed to putting an end to such discrimination and injustice.

It is worthwhile to mention that the Hon’ble Calcutta High Court, prior to the last Bakri Id, issued a declaration terming slaughtering of cows on account of Bakri Id as illegitimate. The hearing of the lawsuit took place thanks to the writ petition (W.P. No. 1378 of 2010) filed by Avijit Das, Secretary of Amtala Nagarik Adhikar Raksha Samity (Civil Rights Defence Council of Amtala), in the Division Bench of Chief Justice J.N. Patel and Justice Ashim Kumar Roy. In accordance with the declaration dated 12 November, 2010, under the aegis of the two Hon’ble Justices, no slaughtering of cows, as part of any ritual, on the day of Bakri Id can be performed. It has also been stated distinctly, Hon’ble Supreme Court of India has also issued the same ruling.

We got the copy of the ruling by the evening of 12 November and without losing time, distributed its Xerox copies among HS activists to submit all those to local police stations. Bakri Id was on 17 November and in the interim, HS workers submitted copies to all police stations across the state and also to higher officials in a war-like effort and exerted strong pressure on the local administration to bring slaughtering of cows to an end.

The Muslim mob of the Muharram procession attacked a Hanuman temple located near Koley Para Primary School, be it noted that 15 bombs were charged on and near the HANUMAN temple by the Muslim attackers and as a result the temple was totally destroyed .

At least 10 HINDU shops were ransacked and looted: .....

..... The shops mentioned above have been bombed by the Muslims.

All these incident took place between 4:30 to 6:00 PM in front the Police Force who were standing still and helpless in and did not even dare to attempt to stop this Islamic activists. .....

A communal incident took place on 9th November 2010 for which 18 Hindu men of the area were framed and false rape cases were imposed upon these innocent Hindus. This time the local Hindu leaders of CPM & BJP advised the Hindus not to come out of their home during the Muharram procession. Accordingly the Hindus today (Muharram day) stayed in-door at the time of Muharram procession and the Muslims took complete advantage of the situation and carried on one sided atrocities against the Hindus and Hindu owned properties. The incident of 9th Nov 2010 is really unimaginable and the facts of which will be reported later in this portal in detail. The Hindus of the area are very perplexed and confused and don’t know what to do and at this stage there is no one in the locale to provide support and leadership to the Hindus .

..... Previously there had been many instances of Muslim atrocities in the Panchla area, for example two years back : All the Hindu Shops (54 shops) of the Panchla Bazar were ransacked and looted and on all the occasion and the Police stood and watched like mere helpless spectators.

Violence Against Hindus Continues in Joynagar

..... Hindus perform Durga Puja with pomp and splendor every year. Hindu girls always perform puja under the banayan tree on the day of "Sasthi" during Durga puja. This year Muslims tried stopping them and police intervened. Undaunted by resistance from Muslims and police, Hindus performed puja by the tree. .....

..... Police force then raided the Hindu locality and arrested eight Hindus included four women, one of whom was seven months pregnant. The arrested Hindus are: Supriya Mandal (7 months pregnant) .....

West Bengal: An Oasis of Communal Harmony

Muslims are still a minority group in West Bengal whereas in Bangladesh, previously East Bengal, the opposite holds true; the Muslims there are the majority fraction while the Hindus have become a minority. Physical torture, molestation of the women, looting of property, desecration of temples, eviction from ancestral hearth and home is all too common in the eastern half of the original, greater Bengal, i.e. Bangladesh and is almost exclusively perpetrated on the minority, Hindu/Buddhist/Christian communities by the majority, Muslim community. In sharp contrast, in West Bengal suffering of the Islamic, or for that matter any other religious, minority at the hands of majority community is practically non-existent. .....

..... Over last six decades in each individual block in West Bengal, proportion of Muslims has increased. Already three districts in WB have turned Muslim majority while a few others are on the verge of changing over and are borderline. .....

Hindu Samhati Workers’ Meeting in Hotor Show Vigor

If anyone wants to know how a single triumph can ignite the passion to struggle and be triumphant among Hindus, he/she has to make a visit to Hotor. The whole area, at the moment, is simply beaming on account of the recent victory in organizing the Durga Puja successfully at the neighboring Mograhat. Village of Dakshin Marjada under Mograhat P.S. in South 24 Parganas district in the Indian state of West Bengal has shown the way.

This feeling of a victor was witnessed among the Hindu Samhati workers who took part at a HS workers’ meeting in Hotor in large numbers. The meeting was convened on November 5th, 2010 with lots of issues in hand. The most prominent of these was to make the upcoming anniversary of Hindu Samhati a grand success. When the subject was raised every member was found to stand to expressing their enthusiasm positively.

Another imperative issue was raised that bears testimony to the mounting frustration among Hindu youth of deprivation. Without doubt, the rising job reservations for Muslims in West Bengal have led to a strong discontentment among the Hindu youngsters and it is quite natural. As per Shankar Manna, person raising the issue, the rising difference thanks to parochialism among local administration is creating scores of problem and pushing them towards poverty. The subject gained support among the other partakers in the meeting also. They had no qualm in stating that the entire move of the state administration has been to keep Hindus in poverty and smash down morale of the whole community.

Abuses Against Hindu Goddess Lead to Unrest in Asoknagar

Truly, audacity of Muslims is increasing by leaps and bounds throughout Bengal and scores of incidents can be cited to prove the same. The recent occurrence at Ashoknagar-Kalyangarh (near the infamous Deganga in N24 Parganas of West Bengal, India) market manifests it yet gain. On 22nd October 2010 an individual went to the market to pay for a vernal banana-plant (essential for the Lakshmi Puja) and the Muslim vegetable seller called the Goddess abusive names. The incident, contrary to the imagination of the seller, was enough to enrage Hindus and the seller was first asked to apologize, and when he refused to do so he was beaten .......... Finding no other way and witnessing the fast worsening situation the vendor, with the help of another businessman, did escape in a flash.  

Hindus, as per the latest development, have concluded that the Muslim vegetable seller would no longer be allowed to trade in the market.

All these indicate – Hindus are getting conscious that incidents like that of Deganga can take place at any time.

Basanti Bears Testimony to Hindu Persecution

Sankrail - A Case of Muslim Appeasement and Failed Justice

On 9th Nov (Tuesday) night, in Sankrail (Howrah, West Bengal, India), a local Muslim ruffian (name not known) tried to snatch a gold chain from a Hindu woman. When the woman screamed for help, people from the neighborhood gathered (both Hindus and Muslims) and overpowered the thief. .....

..... When the thug was brought into light, Muslims in the mob realized that he belongs to their religious community and that outraged them. Immediately more Muslims gathered and they reportedly attacked Hindus in the crowd with swords, bricks and sticks and multiple Hindus were injured by the attack. .....

..... But police were very biased and they started raiding only Hindu houses in the night. As a result many Hindus went into hiding in the night, since they feared that they will be arrested by police due to spurious cases registered by the local Muslims. Police did not yet arrest the Muslim thief. The Officer in Charge and the deputy OC of the local police station are involved in the harassment of innocent Hindus.

Court Verdict on Ayodhya is a Historical Victory for Hindus BUT.........

In an environment of uncertainty and tension, spreading over the entire country, Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court has given its Verdict on the disputed adjoining land of Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya. The verdict is a great victory for the entire Hindu community of India, as well as a shameful defeat of the so called secular and Muslim-appeasing intellectuals and the Marxist historians. All the three Judges of the Lucknow Bench unanimously ruled that (1) the spot of land is the birth place of Lord Ram and (2) there exists remains a grand archaeological evidence beneath the earth. All the three Judges were unanimous about the above two points of the case while one of them differed on the point of allotting one third of the land to the land to the Sunni Wakf Board..

More importantly, the faith (the spot is the birth place of Ram) of more than a billion Hindus has been accepted by the court of law. At the same time, the Court has also admitted the truth, that there was a Hindu structure (temple) which was pulled down by the Muslim invader Babur and transformed into a mosque (though no court order has yet mentioned that altered and disputed structure was a mosque). Now that they have been defeated in the court, the Marxist historians, who are also acolytes of the Nehru dynasty, are distressed that the Honourable Judges of the High Court have depended more on the Hindu religious belief than the historical facts and logic. But the fact is, that these historians are the same people who ignore logic and archaeological evidence. And they also do not respect a court verdict as well.

There are millions of temples around the world dedicated to the deity of Ram, then why is this particular place called the ‘Janmasthan’. The reason is very simple – from millenniums, Hindus are convinced that this is the place where birth of Lord Ram took place. Even when Babur converted the temple into a mosque with three domes, billions of Hindus still continued to believe it as the Janmabhoomi Temple and circumambulate (panchakoshi or chouddakoshi parikrama) that converted structure. And there is no doubt, that the High Court has delivered its verdict on the basis of all these infallible facts and declared the spot to be the birth-place of Lord Ram.

A mere wrangle between two groups of people ended into a communal clash and fanatic upsurge of a band of Muslims victimizing the Hindu residents of Haroa located in the Basirhat subdivision of North 24 Parganas, West Bengal on November 2nd, 2010.

The village of Haroa is locally well-known for celebration of “KaliPuja” and has been going on with the same fervor for decades at a stretch. And worshiping at the local Matridham Kali temple deserves a special mention. .......

....... When the volunteers requested them for the donation, the driver, a Muslim by faith, repeatedly abused the worshiping practices of the Hindus and the Hindu religion in general. This resulted in a short scuffle between the abusing Muslims and the Hindu volunteers. .......

....... Under ordinary circumstances, that would have been the end of it. However, in this situation, this was not the case. Within a few of hours around 3.30 pm, a mob of over five thousand Muslims from Haripur & Mazampur areas reached the spot with sticks, brick-bats and bombs and without any provocation targeted the Hindus there injuring at least 25 of them seriously.

Islamist Mob Beats up Hindus in Kulpi, West Bengal

Innocent Hindu rickshaw-puller and local Hindus beaten up by armed Islamist mob in Kulpi

On 26th October 2010, a Hindu cycle-rickshaw driver named Bhulo Halder got stuck in between two buses coming form either ends of the road on the side of the tea-stall of Muzzamel Shekh, a Muslim.......... After assaulting Halder, Shekh and his Muslim friends tried to abduct and take away Halder when local people, mostly Hindus who were present at the spot intervened, blocked the road and demanded that the police to take action against the miscreants and sort out the problem. After a while the police arrived to bring the situation under control and tried to pacify the crowd gathered at the spot and remove the road blockade.

The local Muslims present there started to remove the road blockade by themselves ignoring the presence of the police. Thus there was a scuffle between the Hindus and the Muslims and the later were then joined by other Muslims from the nearby locality who came armed with iron pipes and crude bombs. With an increase in strength, they started to hit the Hindus and hurled at least six such bombs.

Bagnan - Hindus Challenge the Rapidly Growing Influence of Jihadis

Bagnan (West Bengal, India) is facing a growing threat from Islam. Let it be noted that on 6th September, 2010, Monday, an aggressive Muslim populace residing in the stretch from Beleghata to Deganga have engaged in looting and devastation of property, temple destruction and desecration of Deities under the leadership of Member of Parliament from Bashirhat constituency, Mr.Haji Nurul Islam, and inspired by the above incident on Tuesday morning approximately at 9:30 AM, members of the Muslim community from Biswanathpur, Ramnathpur, Khejurdanga, Dohariya and Gambhirgachi villages came to our home and openly threatened us in abusive language. And then they also resorted to destruction of homes in our locality. They were carrying sticks, sharpened weapons or bombs. After reporting the entire incident in the Deganga police station, the police came but they themselves were attacked by the stone pelting and brick bats from the Muslim mob, following which the police force fled the place fearing for their lives while leaving us at the mercy of the marauding mob. We spent the entire day in this terrorizing situation.

Spirited Resistance Led to Grand Durga Puja in Mograhat

Hindu Samhati Empowers Hindus Thwart Jihadist Efforts to Block Durga Puja in Mograhat, West Bengal

Muslim activists made all efforts last year to thwart the 26-year old Durga Puja of Shovarani Athletic Club of Village: Dakshin Marjada, PS: Mograhat, District: S 24 Parganas, West Bengal state in India. But this is not the only problem claimed by them. A burial ground that exists alongside the club and has stimulated the Muslims to claim that the club is also on the same land. As a part of this claim they put up a massive gate to commemorate Eid (just in front of the Puja pandal) and their intention was to retain the status quo. The Hindus were not willing to accept this gross injustice and this led to commotion in the neighborhood. Tapan Ghosh, president of Hindu Samhati visited the hot spot after Muslims were attempting to pull down the entire structure of the pandal(Hindu altar).

The situation alarmed the Hindus and they after witnessing the obnoxious efforts of the local Muslims, also started reorganizing themselves. They have taken serious lessons from the events in Deganga and are equipped to repel any attack at any time from the Islamists. One of the best specimens of this changed frame of mind is the rising graph of Hindu Samhati in Mograhat and adjoining PS: Usthi. Hindus in Barasat Retaliate Potently After Co-Religionists Are Attacked

A True Case of Hindu "Samhati" - Hindus in Barasat Area Retaliate Potently and Successfully Repel Jihadi Forces After Attack on Coreligionists

In a brazen act of brutality, extremist Muslims of the Kazipara locality near Barasat town of North 24 Parganas district in West Bengal today attacked the unarmed Hindus residents with lethal weapons. Even though the victimized Hindus wanted to fight back, the challenge was insurmountable due lack of weapons and an overwhelming 90% Muslim population in Kazipara. Emboldened by the inability of local Hindus to retaliate, the fanatic Muslims got carried away and went on to attack the neighbouring Burma colony in Barasat region with explosives and guns. However, the tables were turned against the Muslim mob here as the demography of Burma colony was almost entirely Hindu and the attacking Muslims got a taste of their own medicine from the defending Hindus. Subsequently the police and Rapid Action Force (RAF) arrived in order to tackle the situation. However, instead of taking action against the attackers, they started pressurizing the Hindus of Burma colony to calm down and withdraw.

Fortunately in this case, the Hindus of Burma colony did not forget about their victimized Hindu brethren of Kazipara and refused to buckle under pressure till full protection was provided to the Hindus in Kazipara. In an enormous show of Hindu solidarity, the Burma colony residents threatened to continue agitation till their demands are met. Finally, the cops and RAF are patrolling Kazipara to maintain peace in the area.

As per our latest updates, the Muslim mob in the area are regrouping and arming themselves with bombs and other lethal firearms along the Ekdilsa road which starts from the Taki road near Kazipara. The victimized population is still largely insecure as they fear that once the police and RAF patrolling is withdrawn, the attacks on the Hindu population would resume in full force. In addition to rumours being spread of an impending attack, fearful residents have spotted some unidentified people roaming around that likely to be scouts trying to gauze Hindu resistance. In spite of police patrol, the situation remains grim. It must however be noted that much of the Hindu resistance was possible to the selfless service of dedicated Hindu Samhati workers of the areas, most prominently Simul, Abhas & Kishore, who consolidated the Hindu resistance. Hindu Samhati extends her full support and cooperation for proper rehabilitation of the Hindu victims and demand full prosecution of the criminal offenders.

Why more than three thousand temples in Kashmir were reduced to rubbles? If Kashmiriyat be an exclusive cultural identity, then why the proponents of Kashmiriyat are so hand in glove with the Pakistanis? Why the Kashmiri youth get terrorist training in militant camps in Pakistan and bomb innocent Indian citizens in Delhi and other places? Is it Kashmiriyat?

This name is a big hoax, an out and out bluff, a deception, a chicanery. If you peel off the cover, you would come to know its true identity. This is but PURE ISLAMIYAT. True to the tradition of pure Islamiyat, the non-Muslims are hunted out there. That is the reason why the original sons of the soil, Kashmiri Hindus find no place in their ancestral home and hearth. And the season was marked by copious attacks on Puja mandaps, desecration of Deities, aggressive attacks on religious processions as well as planned conspiracies to halt festival in some areas. Nevertheless, in sharp contrast to the passionate vigor with which our workers resisted these aggressive attacks, there is a systemic apathy to pen down such atrocities on the Hindu society at large. This is understandable, however, because the hand that swings sword at ease is not necessarily the one that writes well. Consequently, we have not been able to bring forth the particulars of mounting religious persecutions on Bengali Hindus and needless to say we are deeply saddened and ashamed at this deficiency or ours. However, one begs to ask - what are the press and media of Bengal doing regarding this worsening reality? 

What was the mainstream press and media of Bengal doing regarding this worsening reality? They are steadfast that there would be no publication of news portraying encounters between Hindus and Muslims and their points are somewhat explicit. As per them, there would not be any news that may escalate tensions between the two religious communities. Does this indicate suppression of info concerning hostilities would ensure tranquility? Whom are they trying to dupe? We would like to pose a few relevant questions in this context. Has there been reduction or rise in religious hostilities in the last few years in Bengal? What does Deganga point out then? Did the aforesaid sagacious intentions made mainstream press and media of Bengal remain silent? Was there any other reason?

The Rape of Indian Constitution and Judiciary ?

Cow Slaughter Ban by Kolkata High Court Ignored by Media and Islamists

The reporting of the land mark judgment given by Honorable Kolkata High Court completely banning the slaughter of cows on the occasion of Bakri Idd ( W.P. No. 1378 of 2010, Judgment/Order delivered by Hon'ble Chief Justice Mr. J N Patel and Hon'ble Justice Mr. A K Roy on 12-11-2010), is totally unknown by the Bengali population. No media (electronic & print) in West Bengal or at the national level publicized it under the whim and whip of pro Islamic intellectuals and media persons reigning over West Bengal, causing utter humiliation of and onslaught on Hindus in West Bengal.

Despite the specific direction of the Honorable Kolkata High Court in this regard, “The Authorities are, therefore, bound to implement the provisions of the West Bengal Animal Slaughter (Control) Act, 1950 and if any instance of cow slaughter on Bakri–Idd is brought to their notice, they will have to take cognizance and act in accordance with law.”, in numerous places the direction of the Kolkata High Court is being flouted in the broad day light to appease the fundamentalist Muslim mass.

The village DOGACHA, adjoining the cluster Rasa-Dogacha, under Usthi Police Station, South 24 Pgs., is a glaring example of the humiliation of the Hindu sentiment and the total disregard of the Indian Constitution and Judiciary by the Shariat loving Muslim supremacists.

In Dogacha, some 1,200 Hindus reside along with only 70/80 Muslims there. No slaughter could hold last year or in any earlier instance on record. The Shariat Islamists tried to perform Qurbani in 2009, but the local Hindus resisted it through a staunch settlement. But, in this year 2010, the local administration and the police has given permission to perform Qurbani in a make-shift (covered) slaughter point in the house of one Hossian Mian. After the slaughter, the blood of the animal (obviously a cow) and the other remains will be drained out in a land of Hindu neighbor. The intolerable gagging of the dying animal in a Halal method will rent the air.

Yesterday (15^th Nov 2010), Hindu Samhati activists visited the village and met the aggrieved Hindus of Dogacha village. The visiting team heard about the discrimination upon Hindus by the police and the political power. Then they visited the Usthi Police Station and met Mr B. K. Roy, Officer-in-Charge, Usthi Police Station for a discussion and redress in favor of the victimized Hindu People under tremendous pressure of the devout and fanatic Muslims. The Islamic miscreants are threatening of dire consequences including rape and kidnapping of the local Hindu leaders attached with Hindu Samhati who are protesting the illegal slaughter. Though Mr. B K Roy, O.C., Usthi P.S., assured the Hindu leaders taking the cognizance and action in accordance of law, the ground level reports came to us for a complete preparation for the COW SLAUGHTER IN DOGACHA VILLAGE. Hundreds of Muslims have entered into the Dogacha village from outside for the forceful and illegal slaughter there. This will be another rape of Indian constitution and judiciary by the local administration, police and the political pressure groups.

The frightened Hindus seek help to rescue them from the situation. Though the Hindus of Dogacha village holds the majority in numbers, but they are entirely encircled by majority Muslim villages nearby.

Statement of Hindu Samhati

on the Ban on Cow Slaughter for Bakri Idd

by the Hon’ble Kolkata High Court

On 12^th November, 2010 the Honourable Kolkata High Court passed an important judgment banning the slaughter of cows for ritual sacrifice on the occasion of Idd-ul-Adha, popularly known as Bakri Idd. In actuality the Kolkata High Court has only upheld a similar judgment passed by it in 1995, which was further endorsed by the Supreme Court of India, banning the slaughter of cows as religious ritual on Bakri Idd. The Court has also instructed the Government to pass this judgment as notification to all its administrative and law enforcement units and to make sure that this injunction of the court is observed in its entirety.

Hindu Samhati welcomes and fully endorses this judgment of the Kolkata High Court and has instructed all its units to keep a close watch on any incidence of cow slaughter on the occasion of Bakri Idd. If any such activity is detected the local HS workers are to immediately notify the local Police Station with the information regarding the place where the outrage has been committed and, if possible, the names of the persons involved. The reverence with which the Hindu Samaj regards the cow cannot be over emphasized and Hindu Samhati workers have vowed to ensure that Hindu sensitivities are given their due respect in the occasion of Bakri Idd. Towards this objective Hindu Samhati has mailed copies of the judgment to the West Bengal State Police HQ and requested that the provisions of the judgment be maintained in letter and spirit. All the local units have been similarly instructed to submit copies to their local Police Stations. As per our reports, this process of prodding the police and administration is being vigourously pursued by all our units throughout West Bengal as well as a strict vigil is being kept up for any outrage.

However, as the Kolkata High Court stated, the original judgment was passed in 1995 and till then 15 Bakri Idds have passed. In these occasions the Hindus of Bengal have witnessed thousands of cows beings slaughtered in Kolkata and hundreds of thousands throughout West Bengal. The Government did nothing to enforce the law and the court took no cognizance of this misconduct. Even on this very day, in the Muslim localities of Kolkata, cows are openly corralled on the wayside waiting for slaughter on Bakri Idd. They are displayed brazenly before the Hindu populace, taunting their discomfiture and inability to do anything about this insult. Confirming the popular belief that Court or government, judgment or police, everything is inconsequential before the consolidated power of Muslim votes and the debilitating political correctness of the Hindu elite.

Like 15 Idds before, on this Bakri Idd too hundreds of thousands of cows would be slaughtered by the cruel halal method. The judgment of the Kolkata High Court would be just ink on paper and WB government has tucked its tail a long time ago before the might of the Muslim vote. It will only go to prove to the whole wide world that the writ of Indian law does not run in ‘Muslim’ Bengal.

Hindu Samhati’s Protests Against Deganga Carnage Rock Bengal

Programs to protest against this onslaught and strange silence of administration have been adopted in profusion throughout the state of West Bengal by Hindu Samhati. On 8 September, as a mark of protestation, protest meetings along with road blockades were organized at both Colony and Chanpadali Crossings in Barasat. On the following day of 9 September, a street meeting was held at the Bata crossing in the town of Bongaon. On 12 September a gallant protest march was organized in Calcutta that resulted in burning an effigy of Hazi Nurul Islam, local TMC MP and also the main instigator of the crackdown on Hindus.

On 13 September, workers of Hindu Samhati did block the railway track at both Canning and Thakur Nagar to protest against the carnage. Two separate meetings were organized at Baguihati and Mridha Market in Calcutta on 14 September, focusing on the same issue. However, the vivacity that was perceived in all the said protestations was surpassed by the inimitable vigor observed at Barasat on 18 September. The town remained witness to a huge and unprompted gathering of people that drew the unwarranted interference of the local police and administration.

Hindu Samhati activists have worked tirelessly to send hundreds of thousands of emails around the globe since the day the carnage started in Deganga. Various human rights organizations have also committed to help the persecuted Hindus of Deganga. 50,000 leaflets have also been distributed from Samhati to let people know the real happenings in Deganga.

The problem started with the immersion of the holy murthi (Hindu religious icon) of Ganga Puja on October 2nd, 2010. As usual the Hindu crowd went ahead with dhak (percussion instrument similar to other two-sided drums in India) and ceremonial elegance and splendor. While returning through another way following the immersion (with the same pomp) the devotees were prevented by Muslims alleging the grandeur was 'injuring' the sanctity of the local mosque. Communique : A Vijaya Dashami with NO Durga Puja

Hindu Samhati Appeals to the General Hindu Public to QUESTION the West Bengal Media, Administration, Police, and Political Parties one single question :

Why was there Vijaya Dashami Celebrated in Deganga Block WITHOUT a Durga Puja ?

This is not the name of a movie. Durga Puja Committees across Deganga area in N 24 Paragana have gone empty. No Murthis (Hindu Religious Icons) were worshipped as has been done in this area for ages.The biggest Bengali mega-festival for which the Hindu awaits in excitement and hope for the full annum have been boycotted and relinquished by the Goddess' followers. Deganga Hindus had decided NOT to bring Mother Durga and her 4 children home, ie NOT to celebrate Durga Puja, ie, Sacrifice Durga Puja in 2010.

Has there been a calamity, an earthquake, a typhoon, or flood ? NO ! Over 500 Hindu homes and 500 Hindu owned businesses have been attacked, multiple Hindu temples have been desecrated and defiled, all with synchronized orchestration by a planned well organized mob under the leadership of MP Haji Nurul Islam. All within a three day span in September, 2010.

Hindus in Deganga have treated this as more serious than a calamity, an earthquake, a typhoon, or a flood. The biggest festival of Deganga's Hindus have been renounced by all the Puja committees of the Deganga Puja Samanvay Committee. They hoped that this will catch the attention of the anti-Hindu media, anti-Hindu administration, anti-Hindu Police, and the anti-Hindu politicians of West Bengal.

This Puja season, while thousands of Hindus in Deganga spent their days in fear, distress, and uncertainty for their and their children's future, the corrupt local media and the vote hungry politicians have done everything in their power to hide the reality from the masses in Kolkata, the capital city, living 20 miles away and elsewhere.

Hindu Samhati has endorsed to the fullest the decision by the Puja Samanvay Committee to renounce this Puja in protest of the anti Hindu stance of the West Bengal media, administration, police and politicians. We want to see that the situation is changed, so that we would be able to do the Pujas in full pristine form in 2011, or else, we have to expand our struggle beyond Deganga and N 24 Parganas.

*In October-November 1946 the whole of India, especially North and Central India observed a Black Diwali in protest against the horrific riots and Hindu genocide in Noakhali, in erstwhile East Bengal. Maybe this Dark Dussera of Deganga will alert us to an impending calamity of similar proportions that hit the Hindus of India in 1946-47.

Puja Pandal Attacked in Basanti

Can Hindus get justice in secular India ever? Time to evade such a daydream!

Islamists attacked a Hindu religious function in Basanti, and desecrated the altar and destroyed the Murthi (Icon) of Goddess Lakshmi by chooping off the head and hands of the Deity. The local police has remained mute spectators against the attackers. In contrast, they forced the devotees to drown the Murthi and local arrested Hindus for protesting and have not allowed the media to cover the communal event.

"Deganga and the Hindu Protest" - Interview by Upananda Brahmachari

The following comminque was written by Upananda Brahmachari while he was jail for participating in the Barasat Hindu Samhati Rally, protesting the anti-Hindu pogrom in Deganga in early-September, 2010.

“Jai Shree Rama",

This is my third imprisonment in my organizational life. First & second time I went to Alipore Central Jail & Diamond Harbor for the cause of passive Hindutva under the banner of B.M.S. & R.S.S. respectively (for labor problem in the first instant and for demand of speeding up the hanging of Afzal Guru, the attacker upon the Indian parliament).

But, this time in Dum Dum Central Jail, I came with my 7 fellow colleagues (including Sri Chittaranjan Dey, General Secretary of Hindu Samhati, Sri Amitava Adhikary, Dist. President of North 24 Parganas and Sri Goutam Naskar, prominent Hindu Samhati co-coordinator) for the cause of active Hindutva and obviously for the cause of restoration of Hindu dignity severely damaged in West Bengal.
