Hindu Temple Desecrated, Destroyed in Sankrail

Is it a crime to construct Hindu temple? This is not a simple question only but a heart-rending fruition of Hindus, especially in the Indian state of West Bengal, also. With the passing of each day, it is becoming more and more difficult for Hindus here to live with due dignity and conform to own rituals. You don’t need to go anywhere; situation in village Howapota, P.S: Sankrail in Howrah district reveals the atrocious truth.

Howapota is one of the numerous villages in West Bengal and as usual local Hindus were worshiping in a make-shift temple for years. Only recently they collectively decided to render it a permanent shape.

Islamists Wreck Saraswati Puja in Bengal

Is Saraswati Puja in Bengal becoming the best event for Muslims to twist and draw the best mileage? The question, at the beginning, is enough to dismay anyone but this is a stunning reality. With the passing of each year, assaults of Islamist gangs on Saraswati Puja are increasing exponentially and there is no exception in this year too.

While this news is being written Golaghata village, under Minakha P.S. in Basirhat sub division of North 24 Parganas, is simply on fire. And the issue is same – Muslim onslaughts to defile and desecrate the Puja. But a certain difference has taken place at this time – Hindus have put up a combined resistance and it has not only stormed Muslim but the local police and administration as well. ...

As per latest developments, another two noted criminals, named Darooq Ahmed and Rafiqul Mollah, have also been got hold of and handed over to the police.

F.I.R. no. lodged by Hindus at P.S.: Minakha: 26 dtd. 9th February 2011.

Hindus (no less than 9-10 in numbers) were present (in last night) in the local police station to strengthen the case. However, on 9th February 2011, in the morning, a large contingent of Muslims (containing 230-250 people) visited the police station to hook up their case and free dreaded Muslim criminals.

I.C. of P.S: Minakha, Bibekananda Mondal, has assured Hindus that law would take its own course and the administration would not bow to police pressure.

Our Struggle --- Third Year of Hindu Samhati

It’s another 14th February and with it the foundation day of Hindu Samhati will be commemorated with grandeur yet again. Nevertheless, there is a difference this year. The coming 14 th February marks the third year of the organization; an organization that has traveled a lot from its nascent stage and the journey has never been smooth apparently. It may sound strange to many these days but in fact, within four months of the official proclamation of Hindu Samhati, it was attacked by Islamic fundamentalists in Ganga Sagar. And as a result, 15 of its most committed workers along with Tapan Ghosh, founder of the organization, were put behind bars without reason.

It was the beginning of an arduous journey and Hindu Samhati has been able to prove its virility and worth beyond doubt. Now we are heading towards Raja Subodh Mallick Square in Kolkata, venue to hold the coming convention. Tens of thousands of Hindus are sure to arrive at the said venue and strengthen the movement. Now the question remains – why would they come and what makes us go through this troublesome journey.

If you have the desire to know the same, you have to get acquainted with our mission before anything. And our dedication to strive to attain the same has been the greatest reason for the success thus far. The mission is to save Hindus in Bengal from religious persecution and affronts of iconoclasts or Islamic supremacists' torments that have been going on for centuries at a stretch. There is simply no end to the same!
